Versatility was paramount when designing the i5’s features. Independently controlled top and bottom impingement allows for air speed control and product-specific cooking results. As opposed to other units that launch from the bottom, the top-launched microwave system of the new oven allows for the use of standard metal pans and half-size sheet pans. The integrated stirrer combines both air and microwave; delivering even, consistent temperatures throughout and high heat transfer rates. Cleaning is also a breeze, with an easily removable impinged jet plate at the top and bottom. The air intake also has removable air filters to make cleaning even less of a chore. The iMenu system is also capable of storing and managing up to 200 programmes and is Smart Card and USB capable.
With this exciting new direction for Turbochef the i series means that chefs no longer need to keep an eye out for the next big thing in rapid-cooking.
The future is now...
The technology behind Turbochef's cook ovens uses a patented combination of high-speed forced air impingement heating and microwave energy to cook food up to 10 times faster than conventional methods. At very high speeds of circulation, a controlled, smoothly-flowing field of hot air forms a shroud around the food. This takes place in conjunction with precisely measured bursts of microwave energy, creating an unique set of temperature and moisture control conditions within the food that preseve and enhance flavour.
All models are compact, with stackable footprint and ventless - allowing units to be installed anywhere without the need for expensive oven hoods or fire suppression equipment.
The High H Batch
The High H Batch is specially design for baking with high speed and high quality. As TurboChef's latest innovation, the High H Batch has the capacity to hold a 16" pizza or a half-sheet pan of product which, combined with its high cook speeds, creates unprecedented throughput. Up to 2x faster than tabletop conveyors and up to 5x faster than convection ovens.
The Tornado
