Hyfoam is a high foaming heavy duty detergent sanitiser containing 7.3% caustic potash plus 5.0% available chlorine for strong cleaning. The chlorine assists with the removal of protein soils, and also has sanitising properties. However due to the high pH the sanitising is not as strong as lower pH products. For optimum hygiene spray all surfaces with Bacban or Hypersan after cleaning and rinsing. Hyfoam is used in areas such as abattoirs to foam clean walls, floors and equipment, using the high level of caustic and detergents to cut through heavy soil deposits. Foaming on Hyfoam gives increased
contact time for better cleaning. It is not recommended for areas where aluminium or galvanising are present. Sanitiser/Detergents can be used to sanitise cleaned surfaces, or
clean and sanitise in one step using a higher concentration of product.

sanitisers, so any residues left after cleaning will not lead to deactivation. However rinsing after cleaning is still recommended as residual soils will reduce the efficacy of any sanitiser.
